This tip will interest you if for example you want to reverse the order of display of combinations of your product pages in your shop.
Let's take the very simple example below where you would like to reverse in your shop the size and color, ie display first the color.
It also allows you to define the order in which values for each attribute group are displayed. For example, to classify sizes logically: XS S M L XL
Go to Attribute:
You have 2 tables: the left one concerns the attribute groups, the right one the attribute values.
In each of these 2 tables, you have a column highlighted in yellow, titled "Pos." Which means position. The values in this column define the order of display in your shop. For example here, the size will be displayed first, then the color and size in third:
You can manually change the values in the column to change the display order of product page variations.
You can also do this by dragging drop, for that when you position the cursor on a row of the column, it appears a cursor double vertical arrows like this onemeaning that one can move.
Click, hold and drag the cursor to another line to assign that display number.
In the example below, if I want to reverse the display order of the currently first size (nb 1) with that of the second color,
Once the cursor appears I click and I move it by pressing the "color" line and I get the result below: the color will be displayed first and then the size:
The result will be immediately visible in the shop:
In the same way, you can work on the table of right attribute values to define the order of display for example of the sizes S L M and single size:
Be aware that once the order of your display is defined, it will be applied to all products: The attribute groups and the attribute values have a global order. There is no specific order per product.
Next week, we will see, according to the same principle, how to change the order of display of the products in each of their associated categories, with PrestaCategory.
