How to create an inventory for a PrestaShop store
If you add the "Advanced Inventory Management" option to your license, you'll also benefit from two additional tools:
-A quantity management tool for multi-warehouse configurations (formerly called "Advanced Inventory Management" in PS 1. 6)
-A physical inventory management tool.
This allows you to flash and count the quantities physically present in your stock, compare them with assumed quantities, find out about losses, update the database and provide an inventory status file for your accounting..
What is this inventory tool for?
- Quickly search the database for items in your stock, with or without the use of an ean13 and upc scanner.
- Automatic addition to the inventory file, either with a manual quantity or with the known quantity.
- Automatic addition of missing items and calculation of losses.
- Multiple inventory files can be merged (multi-warehouse)
- Export/Import possible to update the base with real stocks and to record losses in accounting.
- Compatible with PS 1.7.2+'s notion of available, physical and reserved quantities
