Prestashop addon to clone and mix combinations attributes in a second, from one products to many

Duplicate combinations

This Prestashop addon allows you to clone, meaning to duplicate, the various combinations of attributes, with their price and weight impacts, from a source product selected from the entire list, to a customized list of target products.
 

Add and merge new attributes

More powerfull, you can even add additional attributes, from any group. They will be combined with the attributes of the sources combinations to create in a few seconds, hundred of new combinations, all correctly set with price and weight impacts.
 

Duplicate product images

From version 1.2 you can even clone the product and combinations images (addition to the list or replacement)
 

What's for ? :

You'll never again spend hours (if not days), updating each of your hundred of products and thousands of combinations everytime you have to do a mass update of attributes prices and weight impacts. You'll do it on a couple of products and simply clone the combinations to the other products sharing the same attributes.
 

Free setting to duplicate only what is needed

Various options are also proposed. You can choose the origin of the value to set in the created combinaisons parameters. Either the same values than these contained in the source combinaisons, either these of the target product or even some default values (0,1, empty).

For exemple, with the default settings, the combinaisons created get the same "product reference", "supplier reference", "EAN13 and UPC codes" and "Location" than the "target" product.
On the other hand, they will have the same "wholesale_price", "ecotax" and "quantity" than the values set in the cloned combinaisons (combinaisons of the "source" product).

The various settings can be saved and re-used.
 

Multi store support

From the V1.5, it does support the multiple stores feature of PrestaShop 1.5:

• The combinations and their parameters are read into the default shop of the source product.
• The cloned combinations can be created in multiple shops at once (and limited to only the selected shops).

The addon include a mechanism to automatically add an index to the references and supplier references (ex: Ipod-1, Ipod-2,...), so each combination can get a unique reference.

List of options (V1.5):

• Set to 0 the target product combinations' price impact
• Fill the target combinations' price impact with the source product combinations's price impact

• Set to 0 the target product combinations' unit price impact
• Fill the target combinations' unit price impact with the source product combinations's unit price impact

• Set to 0 the target product combinations' weight impact
• Fill the target combinations' weight impact with the source product combinations's weight impact

• Leave empty the target product combinations' reference
• Fill the target combinations' reference with the target product's reference
• Fill the target combinations' reference with the source product combinations' reference
• Fill the target combinations' reference with a string made of the target product reference followed by an auto_incremental index, starting from 1
• Fill the target combinations' reference with a string made of the target product reference followed by the source product combinations' reference index (or full string)
• The index is the last part of the string, placed after the last (leave empty to use the full string)

• Leave empty the target product combinations' supplier reference
• Fill the target combinations' supplier reference with the target product's supplier reference
• Fill the target combinations' supplier reference with the source product combinations' supplier reference
• Fill the target combinations' supplier reference with a string made of the target product supplier reference followed by an auto_incremental index, starting from 1

• Do not clone images
• Replace the target products' images by the source product's images and clone its combination's images in the created combinations. The target products' cover image are replaced. WARNING: This will delete all the target products' current images)
• Add the source product and combination's images to the current images of target products and to the created combinations. The target productss cover image are unchanged.

• Set to null the target product combinations' availability date
• Fill the target combinations' availability date with the target product's availability date
• Fill the target combinations' availability date with the source product combination's availability date

• Clone the color palette (before PS1.5)

Installation

Once installed, this module is accessed from the Catalog tab of the admin interface.
 

With the latest version it is possible to de-activate the auto deletion of the current combinations. This feature is however not supported by Sitolog, as very risky (duplicates, inconsistencies, etc...).

From version 1.6.1, this addonis communicating with PrestaPricing (V 6 and later), adding new features in it. As a result, PrestaPricing is now integrating a very fast, powerful and flexible combinations generator, modifier and duplicator.
This generator also exist in Merlin Backoffice but is not linked to this module, but sell and an independant addon.

As with all Sitolog Prestashop modules, the purchase includes free upgrades during six months.

Fully tested with Prestashop V1.2, V1.3, V1.4, V1.5 and now V1.6

Not working with Version 1.1 and prior versions (If you have a need let me know, it should work with minor modifications).
