Clone Specific Prices

CloneSpecificPrices: Prestashop module to duplicate instantly the quantity discounts (PS 1.2-1.3), and specific prices (PS 1.4) from one product to many.

What's for ?:

You'll never again spend hours (if not days), updating each of your hundred of products everytime you need to update your quantity discount policy. You'll do it on a couple of products and simply clone the table to the other products sharing the same quantity discounts.

Have you also notice that Prestashop does not allow you, in the back office to modify a quantity discounts ? The only thing you can do is to delete and recreate ! Very boring and time consuming.
 

Feature with Prestashop V1.2x and V1.3x:

This Prestashop addon allows you to clone, meaning to duplicate, the table of price by quantity discounts, from a source product selected from the entire list, to a customized list of target products.

Cloning options:

• Product global discount:
• Product's price reduction value
• Product's price reduction percent
• Product's price reduction starting date
• Product's price reduction ending date

Quantity discounts:

• Keep the quantity discounts of the target products
• Delete the quantity discounts of the target products and clone the source product's quantity discounts
• Add the source product's quantity discounts to the current quantity discounts list of the target products (be careful about duplicates)
• "On Sales" icon visibility?

With Prestashop V1.4x:

The pricing model has been completly redefined. You can now have a specific prices per country, group, currency, quantity, for each product.

The quantity discounts features have been integrated to this new system.

If this add lot of flexibility, it makes the new product creation and prices maintenance a nightmare.

So we have rewritten CloneQuantityDiscounts to offer the possibility to clone all specific prices and discounts and renamed it CloneSpecificPrices.

      Cloning options:

Keep the current specific prices (specific prices with price set to value > 0) of the target products
Replace the specific prices of the target products by the source product's specific prices
Add the source product's specific prices to the list of current specific prices of the target products (be careful about duplicates)

Keep the current specific reductions (specific prices with price set to value = 0) of the target products
Replace the specific reductions of the target products by the source product's specific reductions
Add the source product's specific reductions to the list of current specific reductions of the target products (be careful about duplicates)

Keep the current specific price priorities of the target products
Replace the specific price priorities of the target products by the source product's specific price priorities
Add the source product's specific price priorities to the list of current specific price priorities of the target products (be careful about duplicates)

As you can see, we have separated the management of specific prices (value différent than zéro) and specific discounts (a specific price with a null price value).

This way, like with its predecessor CloneQuantityDiscount  for PS 1.2-1.3x, you can define a quantity discount strategy on one product and duplicate to hundred of others in a second.

Installation

Once installed, this module is accessed from the Catalog tab of the admin interface.

It recognizes the version of Prestashop used by your site, and adapt the interface automatically. You have nothing to configure.

Remark: The features of this specialized addon, are now also available in the more generic 

 addon.
